Established in 1941, Motor Machinists is a Palmerston North–based business owned by Sue and Rob Miers and managed by Gerard Davis. Since taking over the company in 2015, Sue and Rob, along with their dedicated team of long-serving staff, have remained committed to keeping Motor Machinists at the forefront of the industry. Their focus is on delivering the highest standards of quality, service, and expertise to every customer.

Motor Machinists repair and recondition all types of engines as well as a wide range of automotive and heavy diesel parts. Our fully equipped machining shop combines trusted, time-proven equipment with the latest state-of-the-art technology, allowing us to recondition everything from small single-cylinder engines through to large diesel powerplants.

Based in central Palmerston North, we are well positioned to support customers nationwide. With overnight freight options available, we can deliver parts and services quickly to keep you up and running with minimal downtime.
