Returns & Exchanges

At Motor Machinists, we aim to be fair and transparent with returns while keeping costs down for all customers. Please read the information below carefully before requesting a return.

Incorrectly Ordered Items

If you’ve ordered an item incorrectly or it no longer suits your needs, it may be returned under the following conditions:

  • A 25% restocking fee applies

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging

  • Returns must be requested and sent back within 14 days of purchase

The restocking fee covers inspection, handling, and repackaging costs.

Returns must be approved before being sent back. Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Returns will not be accepted if:

  • You found the product cheaper elsewhere

  • The item was sold as a clearance or reduced product

  • The product has been misused or damaged

  • The issue is due to normal wear and tear

Warranty Claims

Warranty terms vary between products and suppliers.

  • Please contact us before returning any item for warranty assessment

  • Some items may need to be returned to the supplier for inspection

  • In some cases, freight or repair charges may apply

  • Where possible, we may assist with troubleshooting or simple repairs to avoid unnecessary delays

While we aim to resolve warranty claims as quickly as possible, delays may occur depending on supplier processes.

Refunds

Once a return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method

  • Restocking fees and freight costs are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed

Please allow up to 10 business days for refunds to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.

Shipping & Pricing Notes

  • Product prices are shown excluding GST and do not include delivery charges

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on size, weight, and destination

  • Product descriptions and images are provided as accurately as possible, but may vary

  • Prices may change due to supplier updates or currency fluctuations
